I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in  Pacifica.

I received my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Saint Mary’s College of CA where I was trained using a Person-Centered approach.

I completed my internship at a head start program, working with preschool aged children and their families providing play therapy and support to teachers and parents. Concurrently, I facilitated a support group for moms to offer a supportive and validating space and to promote community and a sense of camaraderie between mothers.

I’ve worked at a variety of agency settings holding counselor and director positions, working closely with clients and their families, connecting them with resources, and managing crises. Within these settings, I have worked with populations including but not limited to: adults with developmental disabilities, transition age-youth and adults with severe mental illness, preschool and elementary school age children, adolescents and teenagers.

I have experience helping individuals navigate behavioral health concerns such as anxiety, social anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, and life transitions.

My number one goal is to help the individuals and families I work with alleviate and/or manage the pain and struggles that ultimately every human being faces.

This is done by way of providing a safe and non-judgmental environment and creating a trusting and collaborative relationship, so they feel understood, heard, and accepted.

While Person-Centered therapy is my foundational approach, I recognize that everyone has different needs and therefore have adopted an integrative approach.

I draw from a variety of different theoretical orientations, some of the most common include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Walking Therapy to best promote healing and emotional wellbeing.
